UPDATED for the 3rd time! 1.5 years

New update 12/1/2020Hi back again! Just to clarify this is a review just for the replacement adhesive stick on part of the ab stimulator - not the electrical controls that snap onto it. The 6-pack adhesive stick on works the best for me. I do not like the 8-pack stick on. If feels like it works on one side more than the other. Take away: 6 pack stick on works best. How I put the 6 pack ab sticky on: I found for me even when my abs aren’t defined I usually have those somewhat defined abs right below my bust. When I put the six pack one on I usually put it on right beneath that first row of our muscles, I’ve found that this then engages my abs - even the one without the adhesive sticky on it etc. also the sticky goo that comes with it to prolong the life of the ab adhesive - just don’t use it, it doesn’t work. What does work is "Spectra 360 Electrical Gel.” After your "workout” I usually wet my fingers and go over each adhesive rectangle to basically wipe off/clean any of the salt from sweating with water and then re-stick it on it’s plastic sheet and back and it’s baggy. Works well for me.UPDATED REVIEW:I’ve been using the Flextone Abs Stimulator for almost exactly a year and it still works perfectly! I’ve had to buy replacements for the adhesive parts (as expected) that you stick onto your abs but those aren’t too expensive. The great thing about using this ab stimulator is it’s able to target abdominal muscles that can be really difficult to workout. I know most women can agree that just below the belly button is a hard to work area - so stubborn! I’ve never been able to get that to be flat ever, and as I mention in my original review, I’ve pretty active and am a pretty healthy eater (not a dieter though and I definitely eat dessert!). One of the best uses of this abs stimulator right now is on walks with all that’s happening with COVID. The "workout” is 20 minutes so I usually just restart it as I go. If I walk for an hour I can get in an hour of working my abs too! It has a long battery life if fully charged. If you’re buying for the first time be aware that the battery/controller should have a "smooth” pulse when it stimulates your abs. I don’t mean to say it won’t pulsate, it’s supposed to, but when it has long periods of stimulation for your abdominals that isn’t supposed hurt or be abrupt in any transitions, it shouldn’t ever feel like a sharp pain etc especially on a lower setting. The one I bought a year ago never had any issues, the second one this year I noticed a slight decline in quality. I bought a second one to have just in case I misplaced the controller part that attaches They still work, but I wanted to make a note of that so you know it’s not normal for it hurt. It does still work though, just not my favorite to use.Original I’m athletic, I’ve always played sports and been healthy, especially in the last few years. But this last summer I broke my wrist (badly) cycling. This was a total 3am buy when I panicked about staying in shape post wrist surgery. WELL However healthy and fit I’ve been I’ve never been able to get abs like I have with these. Lol the irony - unable to do high intensity training, or really strenuous cardio and yet I stayed In great shape! Of course these are the replacement Pads for the FexTone but it all works! Now I still wear it when if I’m going on walks, sometimes when I’m working etc, cleaning the house etc!I wrote the same review for the replacement adhesives.
