They are big for my 11 month old son who can walk full but ONLY because he is a size 5 and they are only a size 6. I know the norm is a size 6, they walk, but my son started walking at 9 months, so maybe going down a size is worth considering? Got him a pair for his first week of kindergarten and tried them at home - he walks MUCH better! It kept slipping and I put on anti slip socks but it didn't work. This gave him the balance and confidence he needed to walk. Bought a few more for home
