I bought a previous generation device about a year ago. After a while I had trouble syncing my earbuds together. I had to change them twice. But the last time, almost a year later, they still exchanged the device for me, which was very nice of them. Received in August 2020, this new version feels smaller and fits the ears better than the previous version. They seem to sync much faster with my phone. I don't know when the new version started shipping, but this new version is greatly improved. Many thanks to their support department for taking care of this.
