My older dog had traction problems on hardwood floors and was driving me crazy with his noises. It was like living with someone who tapdances all the time. These socks helped, but the front ones don't last long. The hind legs stay because they are long enough to go through the large joint of its back. Just slip these little rubber things on the tips of his claws and he'll be quiet like a ninja and get crazy traction.
