Captures what you want while blocking out a lot of background noise. The only problem, like most microphones, is that they all share the same digital signature. That means you can't connect more than one to the same computer, the computer just can't tell them apart. So if that's what you're looking for, get non-USB mics and buy some sort of mixer.
