I use them to control pickup truck tail lifts. I used to have a cup on it, but the cup was a weak point and it was only a matter of time before I hit it with something and snapped it off. These switches are VERY good and I love that they have a low profile and look well built. One thing I would like to say is that the one I set to the "down" position needs to be pressed much further than the other to activate its contacts. While it's not a deal breaker, it works, it's a bit annoying and shows very little lack of quality and consistency.
