Review on 🌑️ GEKKA Wall Mounted Forehead Thermometer: Non-Contact Digital Infrared Thermometer for Public Place Self-Testing with LCD Display & Fever Alarm by Daryl Barton

Inaccurate readings and cheap

Right out of the box it looked cheap. It has two power options, wired and rechargeable. A battery option would be great, but it requires a very specific type of battery (I've never heard of one) that's very hard to find. For the price paid, customers should get at least one battery to start with, or a direct link to a source of supply. All of our readings were low, somewhere between 91 and 95 degrees. It was for several hundred tests. I haven't seen a single reading above 96 degrees. It is not possible to calibrate the device or turn off the loud beep. I give one star because it's easy to use, but it's not an accurate thermometer so it's useless. Save money and look elsewhere.

Pros
  • QUICK MEASUREMENT WALL INFRARED THERMOMETER
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
