Review on 💡 Sengled Bluetooth Standard Dimmable Equivalent: Advanced Connectivity and Dimming Capabilities by Donnie Hickok

I bought these in lieu of additional Hue bulbs after getting one for free with my latest Echo Point. This worked well and they're a lot cheaper than the Hue bulbs. I'm thinking maybe these guys like to work alone? I'm not sure. I placed all four in the same jig. I used the Alexa app to set it up and it only found two lightbulbs at first. Tried the opening again, found a third. Tried a few more times and couldn't find a fourth. I've tried different settings and the third one refuses to sync with the first two. All three never have the same status. The latest doesn't seem to work with the app at all, despite what it looks like. The best part? My original lightbulb in my living room has now become a ghost. I can't find it anywhere in the Alexa app, it no longer responds to the Alexa routine I set up, but does respond to commands aimed at the master bedroom. (The lamp in my master bedroom, which is a Hue bulb, is also a genie in Alexa, I can only control it in the Hue app, which is what happened with adding those bulbs as well.) I consider myself a pretty good one troubleshooter . When I was frustrated with troubleshooting Alexa issues, I figured the next logical step would be to download the Sengled app. I didn't do that with the first lightbulb because I don't need it and I have enough different smart device apps. (That's another reason I chose these bulbs) Anyway, I download the app, enter my email address to create an account and it asks for a verification code. The problem is that I didn't receive the email. I've resent the code many times, checked other folders, updated, rechecked, ad nauseam. At this point I finished and started the return. Next I need to fix my Hue bulb. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to try to fix the one original Sengled bulb or just swap it out.
