So far I really like these shoes. As I mentioned about the other pair as I was able to purchase two separate Globe shoes for less than $100! these are quality shoes and very affordable. After hours of searching the internet, stores and wandering around Chicago (I'm from Michigan) I've finally decided to go back to Globes shoes. I'll admit, when I first saw Zumez's website styles, I thought they were pretty ugly. However, Revain has a better choice. I just went for a black/black style so I can look neat especially in spring. That's all they say. These shoes were a hair's breadth too long and a bit narrower than I'm used to (considering I wore super tight DCs for 3 months before they broke) but I'll be sizing up soon as mine old vans (8 years old, poor thing) were more in this style. And I'll tighten the laces, which I don't expect. The only thing I don't like about them, and it may be related to the sizing issue, is that the front top of the shoe flexes with my foot as I step forward, which annoys me. I hope the lacing will fix that. The shoes themselves are very comfortable. The soles feel durable (time will tell) and the lacing system is solid. Overall I am very satisfied and I hope that they will accompany me for many years to come.
