Honestly it's too expensive. If you want something pretty for your office this is great and very durable. One of the bad things is that she found it very difficult to get up at first. I had to seduce her with a toy and show her how to jump up. The tunnel is made of plastic and the material around the tunnel and on top is very soft and slippery. If you cut off their claws, they will hardly be able to climb on it. The top feels like it's been glued to a solid piece of wood, giving it a different feel than carpet. The carpet has some sort of traction that they can use to climb to the top of the cat towers. This material is thin, soft and feels almost silky. It's really not shaped in a way that makes it easy for them to get to the top. When trying to use the long strip to climb up, she often got stuck trying to find some sort of traction or grip on that edge of wood or the top piece of material, and failed every time. She eventually learned that she had to jump halfway through the tunnel and then up. I still give it 3 stars because she loves to lay on it to look out the window or to sleep but for the price I could get something she would be happy to climb on. Another thing, when I first got it, there were threads of this material everywhere. They bite into the material with their claws as there is no tension tending to tear off some of the material. I don't understand why this stuff is all the rage now that she's not getting into it anymore, but I thought I'd at least mention it. If you want something solid and beautiful then this is it.
