Depending on the size of the hole in the glass portion of the hummingbird feeder, this swab is either horrible or good. I bought a hummingbird feeder made from vintage Perky Pet bottles at Theisen's (similar to Farm & Fleet) and needed something to clean the inside of the bottle. This Perky Pet Swab barely fit through the hole which was 11/16 inch. Because I had to push so hard to insert the tampon, the rod bent and it looked like the tampon was about to fall apart. Sometimes I couldn't even get the tampon even in the bottle. I would NOT recommend this product for a feeder with an 11/16" opening. On the other hand, the swab went through the 1 and 3/16 inch hole easily on my regular Perky Pet Hummingbird Feeder, so it could be used for that feeder. Also, I didn't like the way I cleaned the feeders. Metal, the sealing pad kept rattling against the glass as I cleaned all the way inside.
