I like the weight of this apron because cooking in the south is hard work in the summer. Medium weight material - not hot and heavy but enough to protect my clothes from most accidents in the kitchen or around the house. The only thing I don't like is that the tie goes around the hips. I prefer an apron that ties at the waist with ties long enough to tie in the front. The pockets on this apron are well made, but they also open at waist level, which is a bit higher than I'd like. However, I use this. It looks beautiful, fits the bill and even gets compliments, so here it is. You may think this is perfect.
