I've only had this monitor (BenQ EW2780U) for a little over a day. However, I've been testing various monitors for use with my 20-year-old MacBook Pro (Intel) for a few months now and I have to say that this one wins the prize as my new daily driver. The picture is crisp, there are plenty of customization options via the on-screen display (OSD) and best of all (at least for me) when connected to my MBP via a Thunderbolt port it not only has full video and audio support. , but it powers and charges my MBP without having to tie a second port for the power cord. I would rate this monitor 5 stars, barring a few issues, none of which are demonstrative: * A confusing "Getting Started" booklet. If I hadn't been building so many monitors lately I would have had to turn to YouTube to find out how to attach the base to the display. *No USB-C Thunderbolt cable included - HDMI only. to HDMI. If you're new to using a Thunderbolt display, you might not realize that not all USB-C cables provide data, audio, and video at the same time. right side of display.* No downstream USB ports
