    i wanted to fall in love

    I needed a replacement for my old 27 inch Thunderbolt display because I really wanted higher DPI for mobile development. I find a large display helps to have Xcode and Safari open at the same time while working, and when I read that this display offers USB-C compatibility for my 16-inch MacBook Pro, I jumped at the opportunity. Hammer one before I'm sold out. I don't know, I think it's because people are buying high-end monitors like crazy these days to work from home. I enjoy working from home

    The BENQ EW2780U 27-inch 4K monitor may appeal to many. The hardware is great overall. It has a great fit and finish, intuitive menus and back buttons that are easy to use, excellent resolution and deep black levels. But there are a few downsides. As a business/work monitor, it doesn't shine. I assumed that static windows would not be a problem for this display.     Good monitor, Mac users beware.

    Overall a good monitor. Good colors and a crisp display (personally I prefer the colors and features of the EX2780q, which I also own). Despite having a 4k display and USB-C, this monitor (depending on when it was made) may need a firmware update to run at 60fps on M1 Macs. Unfortunately, in order to update the firmware, you have to send it back to the manufacturer, which will take 1 to 2 weeks. There is no way to do the update yourself (believe me I've tried). It works perfectly under Windows,

    Great MBP 15 " USB-C Companion

    I am very happy with this monitor so far. I bought it for my 15" Macbook Pro USB-C. I have excellent charging capabilities with a single USB-C/Thunderbolt cable.     The Macbook M1 Air is the best in my rating

    I think a lot of people are wondering if this monitor will deliver 4K at 60Hz on the new MacBook M1. Answer: Yes, BUT you need to send the monitor back to BenQ for a firmware update.     I've only had this monitor (BenQ EW2780U) for a little over a day.     One has already been replaced, the second is out now.

    I wanted this monitor, especially for the price. I bought two. One of mine started flickering in the second week. Raven replaced him. Now, 10 months later, another one broke. The quality of this brand is lacking. I'd rather pay half the price and switch every two years than deal with it.

    Only works a few months

    It's been a few months and my monitor is flickering fast. It looks buggy, like the entire screen is on a grid, and is practically useless for anything where visuals are important. That happens with multiple HDMI cables, so it can't be. Of course it's out of my returns window now. Don't waste money.

    The USB-C input did not work. There are also no USB-A ports.

    When it arrived I was surprised that it didn't have USB-A downstream ports like every other USB-C monitor I've seen, so I was almost relieved when the USB-C video input didn't work, so I could return it I bought an equivalent LG monitor that has a lot more features for the same price and it really works.

    4k and colors are accurate enough for my photo editing needs

    I needed a 4k monitor with good color accuracy to work with my photos. This one fits the bill without completely breaking the bank. I'm not sure it'll be a great gaming monitor, but for photo and video editing it gets bright enough and has enough clear sound from the built-in speakers to get the job done.

    Good monitor to pair with MacBook Pro

    I'm sure there are many features that I don't even know about. What I like: Mac compatibility, size and performance after 1 week. Online User Guide (see below). What I don't like: The only included instructions are schematics of how to assemble the monitor stand or how to attach it to the wall. There was no mention of an owner's manual or where to find one.     Great features and strongholds - the device I got had issues

    This monitor has fantastic specs and plenty of ports to achieve exactly what we need. The clarity was great, but two issues forced us to return it. Our machine had a color shift, half the screen was tinted green, the other half was tinted red (you might get lucky and it won't). Second, the monitor shook a lot, more than any other I've used.
