This is a $30 bar, not cosmetically perfect

I got this to add a little more flex to my hardtail's seat. It was a functional purchase, not a cosmetic purchase. I don't ride my full weight on the seat, never bend the post or seat rails, and don't think I will fall if the post fails. so i went cheap. Aluminum hardware is standard post hardware, nothing good or bad, just works as it should. I have always preferred this type of seat fittings to others. the diameter of the rack rocker is slightly smaller, therefore the hardware rocker is not fully seated until tightened. The adjustment nut hole is too large and the adjustment nut is not in the center of the hole. The dial screen printing is slightly off-centre. its diameter is 27.2. The carbon post itself looks and feels good, and the whole thing looks good from over 4 feet. I suspect these are posts that fail cosmetic quality control. They offer a noticeable amount of flex by simply pressing the seat against the 35psi tires with your hands. The initial ride is smoother. As long as it doesn't fail in normal driving, I recommend it. I'll update if that doesn't work if it does. So far, so good. Traveled about 50 km so far. I feel like the strut flexes over bumps when riding full seated, like suspension with about 3/4" of travel. Just enough to take the edge off. It's running 30psi right now and I'm not yet flat.
