Review on California Car Duster 62557 Super by Keri Lloyd

I just received my new California Super Duster as a gift with my new car. This is a great piece, especially on the days between the car wash and the rain. The California Super Duster looks like you wash your car every day. First, let me state the obvious: Super Duster is designed for use on a DRY vehicle, not a wet one. Sorry I just had to say it. The great thing about Super Duster is that it doesn't leave any messes that you might otherwise get from just wiping down your car. It has super soft bristles that glide over your car's paintwork and remove all the dust. On the other hand, make sure you want to remove dust with Super Duster. Do not try to use it on mud or other "sandy" deposits. Don't use it on bird droppings. Use your car's normal cleaning method(s). Otherwise you risk turbulence or scratches. This is my second duster after buying my last one. I had a slightly smaller one with a cleaning head that was only 15 inches; The one on this page has a nice big 31 inch cleaning head. And I almost didn't want to take the 31" because my 15" still worked so well after all these years. In fact, this thing really works over time. *better* as it's starting to look dirtier. After the first use or two you may notice small streaks (which startled me) and the packaging even states that this may be due to the 'paraffin wax' used to treat the Super Duster Soft Bristle. Rest assured this will stop after the first few uses, the wax will not damage the car's finish and wipes off easily. Before using the Duster for the first time, take it out of the box and let it run. hanging in the garage for a day or two will greatly reduce the number of streaks you might experience on the first try. I love the results Super Duster gives. It's like taking your best suit to the dry cleaner, with the main difference being that the Super Duster gives you a sparkling shiny car in less than a minute. Now off to the streets!
