Sony chrome. I agree. They're inexplicably expensive, offer terrible or non-existent customer service, make seriously flawed hardware, and only support their own proprietary formats and accessories. So if you lose your cable or want to upgrade your memory card you should still give them $. Still this camera is amazing and you should buy it.1. The small size of this camera makes it difficult to decide whether to take it with you, which is a major disadvantage of most large cameras. Think of it this way: if you're not a photographer, you will most likely never take that big camera with you on simple walks and probably not even take it out of your pocket unless a really good photoshoot happens. So you end up spending the same amount on a much better camera that you will never use. This camera fits in my shirt pocket and goes with me everywhere.2. The 'Magnifier' mode on Sony's T-series cameras couldn't be better than on a much larger and more expensive DSLR. Trust me I'm a nerd and this camera takes such good pictures of flowers that you can see the pollen grains in high relief. This camera can see better than you can.3. Sony isn't the only lame electronics maker. I'm a botanist and this camera takes such good pictures of the flowers that you can see the raised pollen grains. This camera can see better than you can.3. Sony isn't the only lame electronics maker. I'm a nerd and this camera takes such good pictures of flowers you can see raised pollen grains.
