This product was very easy to assemble. It holds up well and is easy to clean. My chickens used it. We have it on the lowest roll setting and sometimes the eggs don't roll. When a hen lays an egg, the dot faces down, the egg doesn't roll, and I don't think you have a way to fix that. My two problems I had with him. We had an issue with the eggs rolling down, they actually broke hitting the back of the egg holder. The other problem I had was that I had a very determined egg eater so I bought it in the first place and unfortunately she found that she could stick her head through the little slot the egg goes through and still get the egg could reach. But I like it and I would buy more. Not aesthetic, but functional
