This is the most effective pedicure file I have ever used (on myself or my significant other). The first few times I used it my feet hurt a lot and continued to hurt for a few days. I'm getting used to it more and more. I drink half my weight in fluid ounces (water) a day and my feet and elbows haven't been that dry since, so this tip might help some of you. If I need to use this file, I use it overnight. After that I wash my feet with warm water. I apply a thick lotion. I put socks on and either sleep in them or leave them on for a few hours. I personally prefer to do all of this when I know I won't have to be on my feet for long, a day or two. I'm gentle, so these steps may not be necessary for most. If you want to know if this file works, yes, definitely! Another thing I love about this product is that it can be easily washed and kept sterile.
