Full Disclosure I had to return this meter as it didn't arrive on time and I bought another meter. However, I had the opportunity to test the gauge a bit before returning it and I would be perfectly happy with the purchase. Emergency switch used. This meter worked great to confirm current simply by clipping it around the battery terminal without having to break the circuit. The value agreed with another meter I had measured the same current with. This gauge has a few other nice features: - It has a temperature sensor (which I haven't tested) - It comes with alligator clips for the sensors. found the flashlight and NCV voltage detection useless rather than helpful. The flashlight didn't put out much light and the NCV only detected voltage about 50% of the time so you still need a separate detector to be on the safe side. I am not deducting a star as these are not the qualities I bought the meter for. Overall, if the meter arrives on time, I would consider it a worthwhile purchase and value for money considering it's about $20 cheaper than another meter I've bought. bought with about the same functionality.
