If you want to see the route and map where your car drove, this device is for you! I wanted to do more than just "ping" - I wanted to see the actual route. You will also likely need the GPSit OBD II OBD2 Power Adapter Harness. But connecting was easy and the support team was very responsive and helpful. I think it was the best option, especially given the lack of a monthly contract. What you see is what you get - no surprises.
