I bought a set of 3 white birch branches. I love seeing the lights on my Christmas tree and I knew I was going to miss them so much when I took the tree down after Christmas. So after reading about many sets I settled on this set because it looks like real tree branches, is NOT battery operated, has more than just a few lights and fits the space I had in mind. I am very happy with my decision. I hook them up to a programmable digital timer, similar to the TOPGREENER Power Outlet Timer, so they turn on and off at times I prefer (e.g. as a night light: early evening, off). next morning). So since I got them the first week of February they've been running about 12 hours a day and they're working perfectly. There were few adjustments - simply shape after removing it from the box, untie the cord from the bundle, place it in a decorative vase and plug it into an outlet. The cord was long enough to reach the nearest outlet. A great product so far.
