The ligaments tear. They last maybe 5 minutes and just break.
After setting it apart 2 inches and looping the strap around both nubs, I stepped back and said it looked great! The buttons were still there but the black bars were broken. I bought 2 sets of these hoping to do both bumpers. All 8 bands broke on the same day! BS!
