I'm going to talk about the logistics of this tool. You need to squeeze the "fingers” together so the bottom 2 close on a bar. The top finger slides over the top of the bar from above. The bottom 2 might work if you just had a light wipe on the blinds - and by light wipe I really mean light wipe. But who really wants to clean every plank individually? Only in my living room there are 4 floor to ceiling windows and halfway to the first blinds I realized I was wasting my time. The top finger didn't do anything with the bar above because there wasn't enough pressure to lift anything. Now my blinds have accumulated dust over the season and this product had almost no impact on this project. I tried to wet my sleeve, thinking that might help, but it didn't. It seemed like a good option, but now it's just a toy for my kids.
