Review on 📀 Improved SEO-Friendly Lite-On AllWrite LVW-5005 DVD/CD Recorder by Edwin Cen

I purchased this Lite-On LVW-5005 in October 2004 from Revain.com. Reason: usability of different DVD and CD formats (DVD+/- RW, CD +/-RW, etc.). It's made in China and has one of the worst written manuals, especially when it comes to DVD burning procedures. It doesn't even mention the quick/full deployment options presented on the screen. Errors occurred repeatedly when closing/opening the compartment with the remote control. After inserting a new high quality DVD-RW disc and pressing full prepare, the device freezes at 99%; after a short preparation it writes "invalid disk" when selecting an entry. I was only able to burn 3 DVDs after over 100 attempts. If this recorder reports an invalid disc, the same disc can be successfully burned to another DVD burner. with an on-screen message about an invalid disk. A DVD recorded and played back on this recorder had been stored in a clean static environment for 6 months and when I tried to play it - here it is again! Appears"invalid disk"!. But I was able to play it straight away on my Pioneer DVD player! Do not buy this registrar! Through; snarajan
