Hard to beat for the price! The top flaps are made of wood and have a built in magnet as you would expect from a quality flap. The front panel is made of acrylic. Be sure to only use the water-based pens that came with the pen. Using something like a felt tip pen will ruin the board since you can't erase it. The included eraser works great once you let the water based marker dry on the board. You get 2 pens and you can keep one of them in the cracker. If I had a recommendation, I wish the eraser could be attached to the flap in some way. This can be easily removed with a small Velcro strip and you can attach an eraser to the back of the board. Overall I'm very happy with it! It's perfect for my budget shoots.
