and good focus resulted in bad images
This lens was purchased for wildlife photography but I cannot get a sharp image with it. I may have received a dud that was sent back. A bright sunny day, fast shutter speeds and good focus resulted in poor images, I tried with and without all the vibration control settings to no avail. I'll go back to my cheaper Canon lens for now.
