They're actually small and perfect to replace traditional in-ear headphones. They are easy to put on, but will not fall off / loosen in the ear. I find that small buds are much more practical. I think regular sized headphones should stretch my ear canal because my ears are itchy after wearing them for a while. I can sleep on my side with them too. Too bad they came clean. I will add some gifts to the headphones I received for the kids in my life. In any case, children cannot use regular-sized buds. Or I can guess, but it can't be good if even I, as an adult, feel itchy and irritated bumps of the usual size. It will be a good gift for your kids!
