Review on 📱 Black MAX Extreme Shell – Military Drop Tested Rugged Protective Case for Microsoft Surface Pro 5 2017 / Surface Pro 4 2015 – Includes Protective Stand and Stylus Pen Holder by Jonathan Sanders

After much research and experience with other cases I ordered this case. The quality of the material is excellent. Installation on the Surface Pro 6 was pretty easy (no instructions). Sliding the stand cover off is the hardest part as it is very tight. Unfortunately, this case will NOT work with the Surface Dock Connector. It's bigger than the charging port, but it's a very popular Surface Pro accessory, so it really needed to be tested. The dock connector that bulges the side of the case can be forcefully pinched, but the connection is unreliable and will disconnect on its own. Very disappointing as the case is generally of good quality and fits well. The only other issue is that the pen holder is VERY tight - you definitely won't lose your pen with this case! Probably not ideal for frequent pen users, but fine for occasional use. Returned due to an issue with the Surface Dock Connector.
