Cups don't stick but coasters don't absorb water

I used to use cork coasters but had a problem with them absorbing so much water they got moldy and my cups kept sticking to them She. These dragon coasters are beautiful, great quality, sturdy, consistent, smooth, the dragon they come with is gorgeous and none of my mugs stuck to them. The only downside is that they don't absorb moisture. So if you sip a cold drink on it, you end up with quite a large puddle of moisture that needs to be cleaned.
