My fan doesn't work because the positive and negative cables were installed reversed!

Unlike some DC motors, this fan will not operate if the positive and negative terminals are reversed. Because the fan is connected to the board and the connector only works one way, if the wires are reversed in this small connector, the fan will not work. I wonder how many thousands of these things were made before anyone noticed? Anyway, very bad. the wiring was messed up. Otherwise it looks like a good fan.
