I bought it to wear on my ankle. My youngest daughter said she was afraid people might think it was a foot sensor. (By the way, the ankle monitor has a 2-inch-wide nylon strap, and the big black device on it is about the size of three or four bars of soap stacked on top of each other.) When I worked with interns, I thought gadgets looked like old-fashioned pagers strapped to their ankles are strapped down. It doesn't look like an ankle monitor but I wish they sold it in beige. There is no conventional buckle on the strap. This might bother some people, but it's similar to the type of strap I had on my old Garmin Vivofit. These straps never came off. My Inspire HR sits securely and nicely in it. I'm glad I bought this and will probably wear it more often than most of my other straps.
