From time to time in life (and on the internet) you come across incredible deals. Sometimes you think you're looking for a good deal, but then that old phrase "You get what you pay for!" rears its ugly head. These bags are the epitome of the latter. At the time of purchase they had the lowest price per bag of any black drawstring kitchen bag at Revain. I figured that even if they were a bit more fragile than the G or H bags they would be fine. They don't look like grocery bags. Right? Not right. Problems: 1) Pockets aren't strong at all. We broke two in one week just by pulling them out of the bin. 2) Packages are shipped in one continuous roll. The perforations are hard to see and my husband tore another one trying to separate it. Pros: 1) They are very cheap. Luckily they don't break the bottom when taken out of the jar and don't spill their contents everywhere. Instead, they tear closer to the top near the drawstring when tying the pouch. I would not recommend these bins if you are expecting heavy debris. However, our bathroom tanks are smaller but still fit comfortably in 13-gallon bags. The content is also usually much lighter than kitchen waste. For these spaces, they work well. once we find the perforation and they are separated from the roll, i.e. if your family regularly pushes trash around instead of throwing it away like normal people, get other bags or get ready to double (triple!) them. But for lighter loads they work well.
