If you have oily or dry hair, you must use a really great conditioner with this shampoo. It's a very deep clean to the point that if you don't use a good conditioner you'll have trouble brushing your hair, as I found out after getting out of the shower. The next time I corrected the situation with a deep conditioner. Now I have the right conditioner too so it works great. I would say that the scent is a bit harsh for me. They can be strong in grapefruit flavor, but there's something else about the flavor that can be a little overwhelming. But if you like scented shampoos, it's almost the same as Lush's Happy Hippy.
