I've bought several of these and they always work no matter if there's fire or chemicals in the air. Very frustrating. They look very cool and initially I felt totally confident when I plugged them in, but after constantly unplugging them I became very nervous and wondered if there was really something wrong with the device. After comparing to my old current carbon monoxide and gas leak detectors that I had prior to purchase, these things are unreliable. I would have sent them back but before I realized they were fickle and unreliable it was too late to return them. A complete waste of money. Very disappointed compared to all the other smart features and devices I have bought for my home. Attention buyers, don't waste your money on this product. The design is very cool, the green LED is very nice, the reliability is not up to scratch.
