The tape leaves no residue and peels off any surface I put it on. This ruined one of my canvas photo backgrounds - I taped it to the floor during the shoot and when I removed it from the background it didn't come off cleanly and even peeled off parts of my background. I used this to attach a vinyl backdrop to my studio wall for about an hour while I was shooting and when I took it off the paint immediately peeled off. It also left a very sticky residue on the window where I stuck a sign saying I was having trouble getting out. I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for something that's real duct tape. The tape is strong, so I gave it two stars instead of one, but the description of it being a tape that's easy to remove without leaving a residue isn't accurate. I won't use it anymore, very disappointed.
