The first pair of cleated shoes I've owned in about 20 years as a regular weekend golfer. After years of wearing several pairs of more formal looking FJs with soft cleats, I wanted to run more and needed something that offered a little more comfort than running shoes. This shoe is sort of a hybrid in the sense that it has a lot more cushioning than a traditional shoe, but at the same time still has a decent amount of structure and some stiffness in the sole. I've had them for a few months, I'm very satisfied. Very comfortable and I didn't notice any difference in traction compared to cleats. With most of my previous shoes, my feet needed a breather towards the end of the round, but that's not the case here. They kept my feet dry when wet, but I haven't tested them in really wet conditions yet. Conditions. Maybe I'll have a chance this fall. And finally, the only advantage of spikeless shoes is that you can put them on at home before going to the field. I also found it to be a lot easier to brush your hair after a round - just clap your hands and you're done. I'm not sure I'll ever go back to cleats.
