Curly hair lovers beware

Longevity depends on how you use it. I have curly hair (different curls every few inches) and I've been trying to tame my braids/rows with it - the elastic didn't live up to my expectations (ie the elastic will puncture the fabric if pulled too hard). I hopped for something more permanent; So I understand that this is not the best for my hair type.
