Check your specifications before ordering! That's the lesson I learned when I ordered this huge monitor to use with my work laptop at home. My old graphics card didn't support a widescreen monitor. Make sure yours fits and then click 'buy now' because it's awesome! I ordered a new computer that met the specs and then hooked up this 29 inch wide screen. My eyes are happy! I run the remote desktop on about 2/3 of the screen and the "local" computer on the other 1/3. This was a huge improvement for me since my remote desktop doesn't support a second monitor. Colors are vibrant and graphics are sharp. I am working. in administration, so I go through documents and spreadsheets all day and don't use a lot of videos. Our remote system can produce a blurry image at times, but it looks fine on this monitor. I use a monitor arm for more adjustable placement. However, the included built-in kickstand is well designed and looks great. I was surprised to learn that I can connect the hub to my monitor and power or charge other devices. A minor downside is that the layout of the inputs makes it difficult Hide power and HDMI cables behind the monitor, hang down a bit so they can be seen from the front. A rectangular HDMI cable would solve this problem, but I don't care at the moment. If you're picky about the look of your desktop, this might bother you. I like the cleaner look of a single monitor with almost the same screen real estate as dual monitors. I was unfamiliar with this company but they presented a fantastic product. I don't know what all the numbers and specs really mean and I'm not doing any performance testing here, but it fits my needs very well and I'm happy with it!
