I have so many animals that visit my garden in the summer. Among them are foxes, raccoons, deer, marmots and even skunks! I bought this camera to take photos and videos. This was my first camera purchase and I'm glad I bought it. I love that it has a built in LCD screen so I can check it every few days to see if any animals have been caught by the camera or not. Bring a camera or memory card into the house. WHAT I LIKE: [+] I can view photos and videos taken with the camera directly on the built-in LCD screen! [+] It's definitely waterproof because it rained a few days when I installed it outside and it's still working fine. [+] Very good motion detection with the ability to take photos, videos, or both. [+] 1440P HD video! plus 30 MP photo. Amazing.[+] Night vision is very good.[+] Lots of settings to change in onscreen menu including photo/video resolution and video duration.[+] Looks great with camouflage design.[+] Optional power adapter (not included) if you don't want to use 8 AA batteries. [+] 8 AA batteries seem to last a very long time as photos and videos only activate when motion is detected. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: [-] I wish there was a zoom option on the LCD during playback as the LCD is only 2 inches. CONCLUSION: Easily 5 out of 5 stars. It is such a high quality trail camera with high definition video and photo. Unfortunately it's gotten really cold in New York so I don't see as many animals anymore, but I'm already looking forward to spring and summer to get some great shots. I managed to capture a deer on camera at night and a cat during the day. They look sharp at full resolution on a computer. Highly recommend this camera!
