Review on 🧩 Floor Puzzle for Feet by Melissa & Doug by Fort Steffen

Not sure if the designers of this particular product understand what a puzzle is. Of the 51 elements, only 14 are truly connected. Only the edge of the "puzzle" has intersecting pieces. All parts of the state are floating instead of fitting together like pieces of a puzzle. This forces you to use a large, flat, hard surface for assembly as the parts will not stick together. All of my other 2' x 3' jigsaw puzzles can be assembled on the carpet. I will be much more careful before buying another Melissa & Doug puzzle and will definitely look into other brands in the future to avoid making the same mistake again. I've been happy with every other Melissa & Doug purchase in the past, but this purchase was a total disappointment.
