So far I'm very happy with these felt pads for my dining room chairs. They are stuck and seem very secure. The pads feel solid and adhere well to the plastic backing. I've read that others have indicated that the spacers have come loose from the plastic mount which could be a manufacturing issue with the glue/adhesive. The ones I received look very well glued. I used to use sticky pads which worked fine for about a year. After that, some of them shifted and even came off the glue. This became a problem not only because they didn't protect my wooden floor, but also because the adhesive stuck to my floor and was unsightly/tacky on the chair legs. These pads definitely eliminate that problem. Since the felt also seems to be quite durable, I expect years of use before I need to replace them, or until I want new chairs anyway. The only thing missing from 5 stars is that these pads are a bit pricey but I think they are totally worth the cost to protect my floor. FYI: You might want to look into real hardwood nailed pads. Since most of us don't have a Buloke or Schinopsis tree, these felt gliders should work just fine; I used a sheet of paper to protect the felt by tapping on these pads.
