I have tried to repair the leather trim on my handbag but the color is light brown. I followed the color guide exactly, then tried absolutely everything and finally came to the conclusion that this color cannot be combined with the colors of the dyes included in the set. Even if the attached color chart shows that it has to be perfect. The tawny should have worked when mixed with white as the base color, but the "tawny" in the set is actually ugly orange rust. The walnut is also rusty. I wasted a whole (extremely small) tube of white just trying to get close to the right color. If you go for black or chocolate brown you should be fine. If you want a real tan color, go ahead. Mixers are a cheap joke. I would love to return this junk but I wasted most of it. along with my money. UPDATE: The seller issued a refund as soon as they became aware of the issues, which was impressive. While I stand by my review of the product, the seller has done everything they can to be honest, for which I am very grateful.
