Next time I will buy another one of these as it is much better than what I could find on the market

This is indeed an air filter. It fits perfectly in the slot under the glove box of my SX4. There were some bugs and inconveniences in the old filter that made me realize I needed to change the filter more often. Next time I will buy one of these again as it is much better than what I could find in stores.
