I love the butterfly mechanism! At first I was worried it would be dangerous or difficult to use and I might ruin my legs, but in the end it was pretty easy and you get a very close shave. I didn't escape. This is my first problem with all razors and I love how hygienic they are and that despite shaving against the fibers I haven't gotten a single pimple. I cut my knee and shaved off some goosebumps, nothing major just trial and error to adjust to how little pressure you need to get the smoothest shave possible. Literally no more pressure is needed than the weight of the blade. You just have to fix it. The cost of the blades is another very attractive factor. I'm happy with this switch, it's worth every penny.
