Review on πŸ› Gatco 1392C Latitude II 17" L Two-Tier Glass Shelf, Chrome: Organize Your Bathroom in Style! by Caitlin Marie

Good, but complicated installation

In general I am satisfied with this shelf. There are no exposed parts, it's exactly the size I was looking for, the glass is nice and thick - it looks high quality. There's no mounting template that's a real headache to install, and not all parts are created equal. So check if you have equal sized chunks at the top and equal sized chunks at the bottom. It took me half an hour to figure it out hanging it out of the plane even though the holes were level. Even if you know what you're doing measuring, leveling, drilling holes and fastening, it takes three times longer than anything else. I will say though - the included hardware was good, the anchors were top notch to support this thing. So much so that there were 8 of them and I really only needed 3. Since my walls had a slight curve I only attached the top two and used glue for the bottom two. All in all, if you're practical and have a certain amount of space to fill in, this is a good thing - it looks classy and clean, but if you don't rate your "DIY skills" a 6/10 or higher, this will to be a real bitch to install.

Pros
  • GOLS certification
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
