Incredibly difficult to assemble and everything has to be done this way. Measurements and re-measurements are required. Assemble it first to get measurements. Then when you assemble it, it is very difficult to place the pucks in the right place. You also need to leave plenty of space above the toilet to be able to insert the grate from below. If I had to redo I would end up with two separate shelves instead of this complex block.

Based on the reviews I thought the installation would be a bit of a hassle. However, it was fairly easy to assemble and install. The whole thing took 45-60 minutes. I measured everything and used blue painters tape to mark my lines and make sure they were even and consistent. I did the installation myself without any problems. In general I am satisfied with this shelf. There are no exposed parts, it's exactly the size I was looking for, the glass is nice and thick - it looks high quality. There's no mounting template that's a real headache to install, and not all parts are created equal. So check if you have equal sized chunks at the top and equal sized chunks at the bottom.
