Review on Hammerhead Industries AC0 0912 Connect Adapter by Michael Barrett

I bought this to use with SecurityIng XM-L2 Waterproof 1000 Lumens LED Dive Light Underwater 150m Depth Bright LED Illumination Lamp Underwater Light Dive Flashlight and Gear Holder RT3 -0092 Large stainless steel light and camera retract lock with snap clip and Q/C-II split ring accessory. The original cable is defective after the first dive. I've done five dives already and it still looks like new. I like the locking mechanism on both ends. The one closest to the device you want to attach can be adjusted to stay very tight. The material seems to dry quickly. There is a metal spring and metal part and so far I don't see any signs of rust. The reason I went with a tethered one is because I wanted to stow the flashlight in my BC in the space above my built-in weight system and attach it to the Gear Keeper (without pulling it out). After the other end is attached to my flashlight, it is about 17 cm long (see photo).
