I bought this a few weeks ago. I chose the newer version because I need an additional 8GB of RAM and a larger SSD. If you're thinking of this car, you probably don't play much, so this car should do the trick for you. Here are the things you absolutely need to know 1. It took me a while to get into Windows. The installation is a bit slow, but it runs smoothly once you finish the installation.2. MAKE SURE YOU GO TO BIOS and CHANGE GPU RAM to 2GB (improves graphics performance)3. Fan noise is quite loud, sometimes even when idling. If fan noise is important to you, consider not installing this device behind a monitor.4. Vega 8 is a decent igpu, it can run demanding games like LOL at 1080p or 2k (if you use medium or low settings). However, expect loud fan noise.5. Did I mention fan noise? It's very noticeable, but you get great performance.
