I have a special pair of shoes that are all white but over time the yellowing started to creep in! At first I tried washing them once a week but it didn't work. That was about a year ago and now they are quite yellow. I did a little research and there are LOTS of videos on YouTube with mystical mixes and treatments to make your shoes snow white. Yes, I think I'll leave that to those who have more time. For me I needed white souls, and I flew on a trip in three days. Quick Overview1. Used Prime and received the day before travel.2. My hands were exhausted as layer after layer of debris was removed.3. Almost the perfect white shower for a late night. Didn't manage to take a picture but I was in a hurry! I am sure that with the second application I can make the souls completely white. I also have two PowerTips. Powertip #1 - The instructions say to apply the product to a damp brush and scrub. True, but if you ALSO apply it to your shoes, you may end up with extra lather! Power Tip #2 - Pre-soak. If you have a large saucepan or wooden utensil that fits in your shoes (I'm doomed for a size 13), mix the product with water and leave for an hour. I found this to be best after the initial thorough cleaning because then the light dirt was removed and the solids were exposed.
